Sing that song again
And she shall weep tears
Down her paisley dress.
Unfortunate; a dying breed
That once read Tolstoy and
Drank tea from porcelain cups.
Under a brighter sky
I might forgive you even if
compassion is shown.
Cruelty and pleasure are gifts
That must be placed together.
The song; it shall play for no one.
